The Cost
Visits to a Naturopathic Doctor are currently NOT covered by OHIP. Most extended health care plans do cover the cost of seeing an ND. It’s important to check with your extended health care provider to determine the amount of your naturopathic coverage. Additionally, Naturopathic Doctors are considered authorized medical practitioners by the government for the purposes of claiming medical expenses (via the 'Medical Expense and Disability Tax Credits and Attendant Care Deduction' Medical Expenses 2020 - Canada.ca )
Visits can be paid for with Visa, Mastercard, debit, cash, or cheque (Please Note: Debit is not accepted at the Callander location). Appointment fees and testing are tax-free, supplements are not.
